旅行中、ホテルの滞在を延長したいこともたまにあります。
・旅行中に予定が変わった
・飛行機が欠航・遅延した
・体調が悪くなってしまった
・もっと観光したくなった
・現地で友達ができて滞在を延長したくなった
…等々。
延泊できるかどうかはホテルの空室状況によります。
インターネットの予約サイトでも申し込むことができますが、フロントデスクに問い合わせたほうが手っ取り早いと思います。
延泊するときに使える英語の一例です。

ホテルで延泊する場合、料金、チェックアウト時間、旅行保険のような事項の確認をしておいた方がいいです。
また、フライトがキャンセルになってしまった場合、自宅に戻ってから航空会社のキャンセルポリシーをチェックすることをお勧めします。
